And so the students set off, eager for their first term of university life. The place, Luton, Bedfordshire in England, in the hallowed (*cough*) halls of the University of Luton.
The first night, always a sticky point, was to hold extra trepadation for one plucky youngster, Ross Clarkson of Salisbury. The rest of the people who had likewise moved into the halls of College House that day were to go out and have a drink and become acquainted.
Poor old Ross, as he was to be stuck talking to some loud boring northerner for the rest of the night, named Adam Hepton, of Bradford. Adam was amazed by this man, he was an affable, amusing young man. Not to mention the big FUCK OFF hair that he had seemed to accumulate.
When their course started, both in the faculty of Computer Science, they met a Londoner by the name of Alex Ball from Hainault. After a shaky start, the three became great friends, and during one particularly dreary User Requirements lecture, Al did a doodle of Ross, and how we laughed. No, really, we did. You might think all this is stupid, but *we* laughed.
The team listings for College House's Chicken Kebab teams were posted, and the team captain had absent-mindedly written Ross's name as "Ross Clamson". This provoked even more hilarity than Al's original picture, and from then on it was Clamson this, Clamson that. And then Al started churning out more and more pictures, which were mysteriously appearing as the Windows backdrops in the Computer Studies Labs of Luton. Not to mention the Marquee screen savers with the legend "Beware the son of Clam!"
And the natural progression, of course, was an emporium of all the needs for Clamson. And here it is. We hope you have as much fun with it as we do.
